What up gangsters! For lunch, we have left over steak. Today, I decided to cut the carbs and go "healthy" with lettuce wraps instead. Same concept as the summer rolls, except no rice paper.
All the veggies are organic and home grown, minus the lettuce - Walmart was generous enough to grow those for me! My mom even grows the bean sprouts under the kitchen table, thats right, she's dope.
The dipping sauce is something we Cambodians call "pra houk". Don't know what that is? Ask your Cambodian friends. Don't have any Cambodian friends? I feel sorry for you. Maybe after we've gotten to know each other a little more, I'll tell you about pra houk. For now, you can use the "sweet fish sauce" I used for the summer rolls, or the bottled Thai Sweet Chili.
