After we had Afternoon tea at the Banff Springs hotel - read about it here. We were still pretty hungry so we walked into town and had a fully satisfying meal at Chaya. Chaya was the first ever meal I had in Banff when I first moved out to the mountains. It is a tiny tiny little ramen house that serves delicious noodle and rice bowls located right beside McDonalds on main street. We couldn't wait to dig into some real food! I ordered the katsudon rice bowl and the Sok sister had the ramen noodles with dumplings and we both shared the gyoza. Both had great flavours and were cheap to boot! Check them out, the locals love them and Calgarians are known to drive all the way up to get them!
